You’re ready to level up.

Many adults with attachment injuries experienced childhood trauma. As an attachment therapist, my job is to help you break free from the relational patterns holding you back today.

Perhaps walking or running away from parents who were arguing all the time was effective when you were a child. As an adult, you might be finding it difficult to resolve conflicts in your relationships or have a reluctance to commit to a long-term relationship.

Psychotherapy will help you feel more aware of what you are experiencing in your body as you interact with others. This is an important aspect of psychodynamic therapy, though some refer to this focus as somatic therapy or depth work.

The term “somatic” derives from the Greek soma, or “body.” We carry the remnants of traumatic experiences in our bodies. Often, those who have early relational trauma with a caregiver also struggle with self-esteem, confidence, and body image. Still, you can overcome feelings of self-doubt and feel amazing for the rest of your life. It is possible to help free your mind and body from the past.

When we work together, you’ll start to feel more comfortable and confident in your own body. You’ll also sharpen your ability to tap into your own intuitive body as an essential source of knowledge. You’ll learn to love and trust yourself more than ever - and that’s just the beginning.

WORK WITH ME

I can help you love and trust yourself again.

As an attachment therapist, my approach to psychotherapy centers on attachment theory, systemic issues, and positive psychology. My sole focus on attachment and trauma during the last ten years of my career has led me to explore the theory, research, and clinical interventions designed to help you have more fulfilling relationships. I offer you a compassionate and nuanced approach, rooted in empathy and warmth, while also challenging you to grow and work through past pain.
